Michelle graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1995. In 1996, she earned her paralegal certificate from Roosevelt University. She then joined Mages & Price as a paralegal for two years before leaving the firm to attend law school. While in law school, Michelle received a “CALI” award for her excellent achievement. In 2001, she graduated, with honors, from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago Kent College of Law, was admitted to the Illinois State Bar, and rejoined Mages & Price as an associate attorney.

Michelle has significant litigation experience in collection matters. She has managed all aspects of the trial process from pleadings and motion practice to trial. She has successfully tried, arbitrated, and mediated cases in every court in which the firm practices. Michelle’s strength as a trial attorney is her ability to be fully prepared. She provides her clients with her own personal touch to ensure they are comfortable in court and throughout the proceedings. Michelle has a profound desire to win each case.

On a personal note and in the spirit of competition, Michelle has won numerous regional, state, and national baton twirling events. One of her proudest moments is capturing the 1992 National Intermediate Senior Duet Championship title. She currently teaches baton and is a nationally recognized judge for the National Baton Twirling Association.
